PHOTOS: WOMAN SHOWS OFF HER PLACENTA, WRITES ABOUT HOW SHE COOKED AND ATE IT

Celebrities like Kim and Kourtney Kardashian have said they cook and eat their placenta, so this might not be surprising.

This mum, @babysblessing took to Instagram to show off her placenta and wrote on how she cooked it. Read below…

“Yep, this is exactly what it looks like🙊 first step is to rinse away the blood….

This is what I did with my morning. Finally defrosted my placenta and steamed it.

It was really quite strange handling my own placenta, something I’d grown in my body and had nourished my baby girl for nine months. Up close the vein structure is actually quite incredible and feeling and examining every part taught me more then I could have read and researched.

So I’m in the dehydrating stage now of my first placenta. Im going to ground it up into powder form to get the hang of all my equipment and I’ll encapsulate a couple for practice but the remainder of the powder will be buried in our yard under a tree 🌲 stay tuned for more photos 😂”

MEET THE WOMAN WHOM BARRACK OBAMA, PROPOSED TO TWICE AND SHE REJECTED HIM TWICE BEFORE HE MET MICHELLE

Barack Obama proposed to a woman who rejected him not once but twice … before he met Michelle — this according to a new biography.

The woman is Sheila Miyoshi Jager. David Garrow, author of the new book, “Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama,” says Obama met Jager in the mid-’80s when he was doing community organizing in Chicago.

Jager, of Dutch and Japanese ancestry, told Garrow even back then, Obama had a strong belief he’d someday become President of the United States. She also told the author Obama had “a deep-seated need to be loved and admired.”

She says in 1986 Obama asked her to marry him, but her parents were opposed because they thought she was too young. She said no, but they continued dating.

Then, Garrow says, Obama’s presidential ambitions became a centerpiece of their relationship, causing a conflict because he worried a non-African-American spouse would do him political damage.

Garrow says he “felt trapped between the woman he loved and the destiny he knew was his.”

Obama went to Harvard Law School in 1988 and the relationship was on the ropes, but Jager says Obama again asked her to marry him before he left, but she was off on a research trip to Seoul and rejected his proposal.

Obama fell for Michelle after their first year in law school but, according to Garrow, he was still occasionally seeing Jager.

As for Jager, she’s a professor of East Asian Studies at Oberlin College. And there’s this fun fact: Her book, “Iraqi Security Forces and Lessons from Korea” was on Osama bin Laden‘s bookshelf in the compound where Seal Team Six killed him

Mburu and his mum in the US

When I graduated here 24 years ago, my mother was absent from the ceremony, because it was too expensive for her to make the trip from my native village in Kenya to the United States. So you can imagine the joy I felt last week as I brought her for her first visit to the university, at the age of 83! Though uneducated herself, my mother has always valued education and indeed remains one of the smartest people I know.

“I SEE TROUBLE, PRESIDENT BUHARI MUST NOT DIE” – BISHOP ADEOYE

A Pentecostal Bishop, Rt. Rev. Seun Adeoye, has urged Nigerians to pray for the quick recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari, saying his wellbeing is so important to the nation’s co-existence and stability.

Bishop Adeoye warned that if anything should happen to President Buhari, such would be a difficult burden for the nation to bear as Nigeria will fall into wrong hands that are ready do anything to turn it into their private estates.

The cleric, who spoke during the 1st Episcopal Honours and Gallantry Awards held at the weekend at Sufficient Grace and Truth Ministry, Rehoboth Arena, Okinni, Osun State, noted that only God can sustain the President’s health.

He said: “I see trouble should anything go wrong with President Buhari. So, we need to pray for his quick recovery from this ailment. Buhari must not die; Buhari must live and that should be our prayers.

“If Buhari is not the president, we will be faced with more lies and propaganda where we are going to be made to call black white. Rule of law will turn to be rule of fear and democracy will be replaced by despotism, favoritism and god-fatherism.

“We cannot allow Nigeria to be in the hand of any of the present leaders. None of them can be the captain of this ship; they will run it aground with their arrogance and selfish agenda. They will rob, strip us Unclad and put us in perpetual bondage as slaves. So, I enjoin all of us to pray for the President Buhari to get well quickly.”

On those who were honoured, Bishop Adeoye disclosed that they were shortlisted from over 100 nominees and were screened by the church’s Council of Clergy based on their courage, service to humanity and God and their various contributions to the society.

Those on the successful list were the Commissioner of Police, Kwara State, Olusola Amore; his counterpart from Osun, Fimihan Adeoye; Prof. Ayo Fatubarin; Pastor and Prof. (Mrs) Olusegun Akinwusi; Dr. Kayode Oduoye; Barrister Kanmi Ajibola; Femi Adefila; Dr. and Mrs. Niyi Oginni; and Deacon and Deaconess Moses Ajayi.
